Everything leaving Hulu in April 2025
Rebecca Hall in Resurrection.

There have been months where Hulu has barely shed anything at all, but April takes the cake. Only nine movies are leaving Hulu across the entire month of April. And if you're a subscriber, that's great news. Ideally, streamers should hang on to their content as long as possible, especially one like Hulu that has access to all of 20th Century Fox's films.

We can't honestly say that many of Hulu's April departures will even be noticed by casual viewers. But if we have to pick one departing Hulu movie to recommend for April, it's Resurrection, a 2022 low-budget thriller starring Iron Man 3's Rebecca Hall.

What’s new on Netflix and what’s leaving in April 2025
The cast of You.

Netflix is all about you in April. Or more specifically, You season 5, which will wrap up the series. This is one of the most successful Netflix shows that started off somewhere else before becoming a true hit on Netflix. Lifetime canceled its exploration of Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley), a psychopath who develops obsessive relationships with women. But once You reached Netflix, female fans in particular loved Joe despite everything he did.
Black Mirror is also returning for its seventh season this month, and the sci-fi anthology series has once again attracted established stars for its one-off stories. For movie lovers, a handful of classics, including Field of Dreams, The Breakfast Club, Heat, and The Addams Family, are back on Netflix as well.
To help you make your viewing plans for the month, we've put together a complete roundup of what's new on Netflix in April 2025 and everything that's leaving at the end of the month. Our picks for the month are in bold.

If you're looking for some additional guidance on what to watch, we also have lists of the best movies on Netflix and the best shows on Netflix. If Netflix isn't your only streaming service, we also have helpful articles on the best new movies to stream, the best new shows to stream, the best movies on Amazon Prime and the best TV shows on Amazon Prime, as well as plenty of guides for Hulu, Disney+, and HBO Max.

What’s new on Paramount+ in April 2025
Ralph Fiennes in The Return.

Christopher Nolan may be making The Odyssey through the rest of this year, but Paramount+ features a different take on the classic tale in April 2025. The Return, an epic film that had a very limited theatrical release last year, adapts the final chapter in The Odyssey, with Ralph Fiennes as an older Odysseus. The warrior king has become a broken man after two decades away, but he'll have to fight to reclaim his kingdom and his wife, Penelope (Juliette Binoche).
Another little-seen gem, The Last Stop in Yuma County, is joining Paramount+'s movie library this month. This film is a neo-Western set in the '70s, and it may be cult classic material. Some of the other highlights this month include An Evening with Elton John and Brandi Carlile, and new episodes of MobLand, which will run throughout the month.
Some of the most enticing additions to this month's movie library are exclusive to Paramount+ with Showtime. Paramount+'s lower tiers get everything else. Keep that in mind when looking over our roundup of everything new on Paramount+ in April 2025. The shows and movies below marked with an asterisk (*) are only available on Paramount+ with Showtime. Titles marked with a double asterisk (**) can be live-streamed from CBS by Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers. Our picks for the month are in bold.

And if you subscribe to other streaming services, we also have helpful guides to the best new shows to stream, the best shows on Netflix, the best movies streaming on Amazon, and the best TV shows streaming on Amazon.
