Top 5 tips for taking on “Destiny: The Taken King”

This fall is a proverbial windfall of new titles for the video game community and at the top of the heap is the return of Bungie’s popular MMO space-shooter Destiny. Following the release of the game’s latest expansion, The Taken King, many fans are quickly doing everything they can to become the best of the best, whether they’re warlock, titan or hunter. While there’s so much to do in the world of Destiny, having a little guidance from your ghost, or rather anyone nearby is always handy.

Back 4 Blood gets offline solo play and new cards next month

The Breaker towers over common zombies in Back 4 Blood.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment just released a Back 4 Blood road map of updates slated for later this year and into the next. The publisher tweeted out these end-of-year plans for the zombie multiplayer, with small details on soon-to-come features and content.

This month's updates mostly include quality-of-life improvements and major bug fixes. December introduces fresh features like supply lines, a Ridden Practice area, and a solo offline mode with campaign progression. This winter update also incorporates new card types and cards into the game's card system, which should mix up the meta as it is now.

A Control multiplayer spinoff game is in the works at 505 Games

Remedy Entertainment, the developer of the 2019 action-adventure game Control, announced that the game is getting a multiplayer spinoff title sometime in the future. Remedy is also working on a "future, bigger-budget Control game." Both of the titles will be co-published by Remedy and 505 Games, with whom the studio has struck a deal.

While the original Control was critically acclaimed for its weird story and tight gameplay, it did not include a multiplayer mode. The new title, codenamed Condor, will be a four-player cooperative player-versus-environment game. Remedy did not mention any player-versus-player combat.

Where to find the cartographer in Emerald Stair in Avowed

You will probably have a good grip on all the tips and tricks needed to beat Avowed by the time you reach the second zone, Emerald Stair. However, no matter how many abilities you have or how good your gear is, finding a missing person with just a vague hint never gets any easier. We already helped Sanza find a missing cartographer in Dawntrail, but he has lost another in Emerald Stair and needs us to track them down. Like last time, the Avowed won't tell you where to go so we explored the entire region to show you exactly where to track them down.

The first cartographer quest at least gave you the general direction to find them, but this time we are only given the name of the area within Emerald Stair. The area in question is called Naku Tedek and is the isolated island on the south end of the map.
