Best 8K TV deals: Samsung and LG starting at $1,200

Even though 4K content is still in the process of becoming more common, if you’re looking to bump up your screen to a larger size, then you may want to consider going for an 8K TV. Of course, 8K TVs can get pretty expensive, so you won’t find many among the best TV deals. And while Vizio TV deals and TCL TV deals are regularly a great place to turn for some savings, they currently don’t have any discounted 8K TVs. There are some 8K TV deals available today, however, with the current LG TV deals, Sony TV deals, and Samsung TV deals having some 8K TVs among them. We’ve rounded up what we feel are all of the best 8K TV deals below, so read onward for all of the details on how to save.

Samsung

Samsung makes some of the most popular TV models on the market, and its QN800C Neo QLED 8K TV is one of its most popular 8K TVs. Its 8K resolution offers 16 times the pixels the Full HD, and it has upscaling technology that makes all imagery look better. This is an important feature, as there’s very little 8K content out there right now, so knowing the TV can convert everything from Full HD to 4K into sharp 8K resolution will make this a worthy investment. You’ll also get plenty of smart features with this TV, including easy access to all of your favorite streaming services.

The QN900D is one of Samsung’s more recently released 8K TVs, and in our Samsung QN900D first look we called it a fully loaded flagship, which makes it a welcome addition to the best 8K TV deals. It has what Samsung calls an Infinity Air Design, which has smaller borders and allows you to see more of the screen and a more expansive view. In addition to its 8K resolution this TV has AI Upscaling Pro, which produces a clear 8K picture while upscaling everything you watch in real time. Rounding out the top features of the QN900D are Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound Pro, both of which create an immersive audio environment to go with this TV’s impressive 8K features.

Samsung’s QN800D series is a step down from the QN900D, but it lets you snag an 8K TV for a lower price, and you’ll get a display powered by Mini-LED technology. This provides a theater-like, immersive experience that’s perfect for family rooms and home theaters. The QN800D interface is powered by Tizen, which organizes your favorite content all in one place. You’ll also be happy to know that this has a 120Hz base refresh rate, making it perfect to pair with a console or a high-end gaming PC.

Samsung 65-inch QN990F 8K TV — $5,400 $5,500 2% off

LG QNED MiniLED 99 Series 2021 65 inch Class 8K Smart TV
LG

The QN990F is Samsung’s latest entry into the 8K world, which means you get a small bump in specs and features from the previous QN900D series. You also get all the features you’d expect with one of the best TVs on the market, and that includes things like a 120Hz base refresh rate, which is super impressive, as well as 8K upscaling. It also runs off the Wireless One Connect box, which means you don’t need to connect a bunch of unseemly wires directly to your TV, but instead to a secondary box that can be placed somewhere nearby and out of the way. It’s also worth noting that you will need a My Best Buy subscription to get this discount.

We came across a fantastic offer on Samsung QLEDs just earlier today. Right now, when you purchase the Samsung 65-inch QN90D, you’ll only spend $1,500. While that still may sound expensive, let us remind you that the list price of this model is $2,700. We actually reviewed the 98-inch version of this Sammy QLED a while ago, and our TV expert, Caleb Denison, said it best: “The QN90D series is excellent, but the 98-inch model fell apart for us.”

Why you should buy the Samsung 65-inch QN90D
Spec-wise, the 65-inch QN90D is a high-performance QLED with mini-LED lighting. Resolution tops out at 4K, and the native refresh rate is as high as 144Hz, which is excellent for PC gamers. HDMI 2.1, VRR, and ALLM are standard across all inputs, too. That way, you’ll always be getting the best frame-to-frame speeds and the lowest input lag possible. The QN90D also supports all modern HDR formats, including Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
