Sony CMT-DH7BT

Sony, when not getting beat by Apple in the MP3 player market, continues to turn out innovative new products in various consumer electronics categories. One of their latest, due out in May, is a case in point: the Bluetooth-enabled CMT-DH7BT micro home entertainment system.

The CMT-DH7BT, priced at around $300, lets you wirelessly sync it through Bluetooth technology to a compliable device for the purpose of streaming music wirelessly. Examples of devices which can be connected to the CMT-DH7BT include a Bluetooth-enabled PC, cell phone or MP3 player with an optional attached Bluetooth adapter. This feature is designed to let you enjoy music without worrying about having the right type of cable with which to connect your two devices.

Sony’s newest micro system is also designed to let you enjoy other wireless forms of audio entertainment and through Bluetooth connections. There’s an AM/FM tuner with 30 presets. There’s also XM or Sirius satellite radio readiness when you connect to an optional home satellite radio antenna and sign up for one of the two services.

Moving into more media-based entertainment features, the CMT-DH7BT gives you a couple of options. The first is traditional audio CD playback, bolstered by the ability to play CD-R/RW discs burned on a computer. As these discs often have MP3 audio files burned on them, this micro system can playback this type of audio format while also display ID3 tag information such as artist and song title on the CMT-DH7BT’s LCD display. DVD playback is also supported.

Other features of the CMT-DH7BT include a front loading disc design, 100 watts of total power, PC audio in (including digital music players), support via a 2.5mm jack, digital sound amplification, a tuned bass port, timer settings and an included remote control.

More information on the Sony CMT-DH7BT can be found at Sony’s Web site.

Sony noise-canceling headphones for less than $100? Get them from Best Buy
The Sony WHCH720N noise-canceling headphones on a desk.

Don't miss this chance to get a fantastic pair of noise-canceling headphones for less than $100. Best Buy is currently selling the Sony WH-CH720N wireless headphones for only $90. That's following a $60 discount on their original price of $150. This is one of the most attractive headphone deals that we've recently seen, so there's a chance that stocks are already running low. If you want to take advantage of this offer, you're going to have to hurry with your transaction as it could be gone as soon as tomorrow.

Why you should buy the Sony WH-CH720N wireless noise-canceling headphones
The most important feature of the Sony WH-CH720N wireless headphones is their noise cancellation technology. While they're not on the same level as the much more expensive Sony WH-1000XM5, they're still very capable of keeping you immersed in the music that you're listening to or the videos that you're watching. The noise-canceling headphones also offer an adjustable Ambient Sound mode, which will allow you to determine how much you'll hear of your surroundings without having to take them off. The Sony WH-CH720N wireless headphones also come with Adaptive Sound Control. The tech senses where you are and automatically makes adjustments to Ambient Sound settings for the ideal listening experience.

Sit right in the middle of the action with this Sony wearable speaker, now $100 off!
The Sony Bravia Theater U Wearable TV Speaker on a table.

The best TVs of 2024 are great when it comes to picture quality, gaming optimizations, and streaming capabilities. But, because most TV designs trend toward the thin side, that doesn’t leave much room for speakers. While some folks may solve the problem of lackluster TV audio with a soundbar (and we have plenty of great soundbar deals to look through), others may prefer the wearable approach of the Sony Bravia Theater U Wearable TV Speaker. In fact, this on-your-shoulders home theater system has a great discount. When you order through Sony directly, you’ll only pay $200. At full price, this model sells for $300.Why you should buy the Sony Bravia Theater U Wearable TV SpeakerThe U Wearable TV Speaker is like a cross between a soundbar and a solid pair of headphones, minus the over-ear design. Meant to sit on your shoulders, the U Wearable uses Sony’s X-Balanced Speaker Unit to deliver highs, mids, and lows in an upward-firing fashion. It’s like having every part of a surround sound setup within arm’s reach! And while the main intent of the device is to use it in conjunction with a Sony Bravia TV, you’ll be able to pair the U Wearable to many different phones, tablets, and PCs, too. On a full charge, the U Wearable should last up to 12 hours, and Bluetooth Multipoint lets you pair the speaker to more than one device simultaneously. Should you ever venture outside with the U Wearable, its IPX4 rating should hold up against a bit of rain or sweat. There’s even a built-in microphone for taking phone calls, and the silicone neckband is comfortable for long-wear sessions. It’s hard to say how long this markdown is going to last, though Sony TV deals like this one tend to go pretty quickly. Today may end up being the best day to save this much on the Sony Bravia Theater U Wearable TV Speaker. Take $100 off this audio device while you still can, and be sure to check out some of the best TV deals we’ve been gathering, too.
