The WB Returns – This Time It’s Online

Like many others, you might have breathed a sigh of relief when Warner Bros. television network, The WB, vanished more than a year ago after merging with UPN to the channel known as The CW.

But The WB won’t lie down and die. The company is resurrecting it as a website next month, when the beta of TheWB.com goes online. Like its predecessor, the site will target the 16-34 demographic, with an emphasis on young women.

The content will include new shows created for the site as well as some of the popular shows from the channel, which could well mean reruns of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Smallville.

Once it’s up and running, the site will offer a Facebook app to integrate content into a user’s Facebook account. The company has also launched KidsWB.com, a site aimed at younger users.

Blink Sync Module XR quadruples the range of its predecessor to 400 feet
The Blink Sync Module XR on a wooden background.

Blink Outdoor 4 is one of the best security cameras for shoppers seeking a device under $100, and today it’s grown a bit more enticing. The company has just launched the Blink Sync Module XR, which (when paired with the Blink Outdoor 4) allows users to place the camera farther away from their homes. All told, you’ll get an extended Wi-Fi range of up to 400 feet, offering added flexibility for large properties.

The new gadget uses Blink’s proprietary extended range radio to better penetrate physical objects, such as walls or thick nearby vegetation. This allows the Sync Module XR to offer an enhanced range compared to Wi-Fi alone, giving users the ability to mount their Blink Outdoor 4 on fences, sheds, or other buildings located far away from their homes.

Now is the perfect time to upgrade to smart water leak detectors
The D-Link Wi-Fi Water Leak Sensor and Alarm.

The winter months are just around the corner, with most of the country finally starting to experience cooler weather. And while the winter brings plenty of holiday cheer (not to mention the opening of ski resorts), it also brings about frozen pipes and water leaks. That makes this the perfect time to add smart water leak detectors to your home -- or to upgrade your old models to something more robust.
Why should you install smart water leak detectors?

Winter is the worst time of year for water pipes. Cold weather can cause them to freeze, then as the weather warms, they can burst and start leaking. And if you don’t have a water leak detector in your home, a small leak could turn into a serious problem.
