Pictures: Apple’s iPod Nano now features multi-touch

It’s easy to get all swept up with iPhone 5 (I mean iPhone 4S, just as good right) madness and easily forget about the little guy, and that little guy is the iPod Nano. While Apple certainly had a lot to say about the latest iPhone 4S, the Nano was quietly bringing up the rear with it’s cute redesign and improved user-interface.

Tap, swoop, and swipe, it’s that easy with the new Nano, with the multi-touch integration, all one has to do is tap to play, tap to pause, or even tap Music to browse your collection by songs, albums, artists, playlists, etc. The nano will now even allow you to customize your Home screens and organize your music just the way you like.  There is even a little shake function on the iPod Nano that changes and shuffles to a new song in you music library. Oh, and did we mention the Nano is now packing a built-in FM Radio?!

Battery life is always important, and the new built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery on the Nano gives up to 24 hours of nonstop music, so those long runs or trips to the gym should be a piece of cake, no wait, scratch that…a piece of celery.

That brings us to the fitness aspect of the Nano which Apple is touting as the perfect device to get you into shape thanks to its built-accelerometer and Nike+ integration. Never one to shy away from making a fashion statement, Apple is also hoping iPod users will even start using their Nano’s as a glorified wristwatch.

This Apple Watch feature was driving me crazy. Here’s how I fixed it
Smart Stack and Live Activity on the Apple Watch Series 10.

After living with my Apple Watch Series 10 for a short while, I noticed that I’d often look down and not see the watch face, which bothered me quite a lot. Instead, my gaze would be greeted by the Smart Stack.

I just wasn’t quite sure why, and I was getting annoyed. If you’re seeing the same thing, here’s why it’s happening and what you can do about it.

Apple’s big iOS 18 update is now available for your iPhone
Siri being shown on an iPhone 15 Pro on iOS 18.

The wait is finally over -- iOS 18 is here. If you have a compatible iPhone (and the list is expansive), make sure to grab it now by simply going to Settings > General > Software Update. If you don’t see it just yet, keep checking as it continues to roll out for everyone.

iOS 18 is a big update for the iPhone, as it finally catches Apple up to competitors with Apple Intelligence, its suite of AI-powered tools. However, because of processing power, Apple Intelligence features require at least an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max. All iPhone 16 devices, which will launch on Friday, will have access to Apple Intelligence. However, Apple has said that Apple Intelligence isn’t officially launching until iOS 18.1, which will be released in October.
