When four couples descend on a tropical island resort, it’s a bit awkward that one is actually there to work on their marriage while the others just want to have some fun. Unfortunately, couples therapy is mandatory, so what was supposed to be an amazing vacation turns into a symposium on all of their problems.
Murder Mystery (2019)
38%Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston star in this mini original franchise as Nick and Audrey Spitz, an NYPD cop taking his wife on a long-promised trip to Europe. When a chance meeting on the flight gets them invited onto the superyacht of elderly billionaire Malcolm Quince, they think they’ve hit the vacation jackpot.
Unfortunately, Quince is quickly murdered aboard the ship, forcing the couple into the middle of a whodunit where they’re both the prime suspects and the lead investigators. There are now two Murder Mystery movies to keep you engaged in a more of a genre rom-com movie marathon.
Wedding Crashers (2005)
64%Wedding Crashers is such a bro comedy that it’s easy to forget that, at its core, it’s a rom-com. John and Jeremy (Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn) are womanizers who crash weddings to prey on the heightened emotions of women so they can sleep with them.
The typical M.O. is to get in and get out with a one-night stand, but when John meets Claire (Rachel McAdams) at a crashed wedding, he breaks all the rules by getting himself and Jeremy invited on a weekend island retreat with the whole family. Just as soon as John learns about love, he starts to learn about heartache.
The Holiday (2006)

Henry soon finds he’s also falling in love with her, as he goes to increasingly great lengths to give her the most romantic day ever, day after day after day.
Spanglish (2004)

Deborah and her husband John (Adam Sandler) have very different ideas than Flor on how to raise their children and run their family, and nobody expects the romantic sparks to fly.
The Wedding Planner (2001)

Mary gets to work dutifully, only to be forced into uncomfortable one-on-one situations that beg them to act on their mutual attraction.
Two Weeks Notice (2002)

When Lucy reaches the end of her rope, she hires June Carter (Alicia Witt) to replace her, only to realize during her two weeks’ notice that her feelings for George may be more than just professional.
13 Going on 30 (2004)
