Christopher Nolan might be filming The Odyssey in Europe, but his most famous movie, The Dark Knight, is making headlines on Netflix. Meanwhile, The Life List remains in the top spot for the third consecutive week, with One of Them Days right behind it at No. 2. 10. Den of Thieves 2: Pantera (2025)
And the cop goes gangster. After the first film’s events, Den of Thieves 2: Pantera picks up with Big Nick (Gerard Butler) still reeling after letting Donnie Wilson (O’Shea Jackson) escape Los Angeles. Big Nick becomes obsessed with taking down Donnie, the only one to get past him. After learning about his location, Big Nick heads to France to confront Donnie.
Much to his surprise, Donnie learns that Big Nick wants to be on his team for the next heist. Left without a choice, Donnie reluctantly allows Big Nick to join his team. Their mission: infiltrate the World Diamond Center in Nice, France. Once the Panther mafia becomes involved, Donnie and Big Nick learn that the only way out of this mess is through, meaning they’ll have to pull off the heist.
9. Matilda (1996)
Based on Roald Dahl’s novel, Matilda stars Mara Wilson as Matilda Wormwood, a gifted 6-year-old with parents (Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman) who never give her the time of day. Without any parental guidance, Matilda becomes very independent, finding solace in books. After some persuasion, Matilda’s parents finally let her attend school.
Matilda falls in love with her teacher, Miss Honey (Embeth Davidtz), but she fears the mean principal, Miss Agatha Trunchbull (Pam Ferris). Once Matilda discovers her telekinetic powers, she uses them to even the score with those who have wronged her.
8. The Hating Game (2021)
The Hating Game uses a classic rom-com trope — opposites attract — to facilitate a game of one-upmanship. Lucy Hutton (Lucy Hale) and Josh Templeman (Austin Stowell) are forced to work together once their publishing companies merge. The two cannot stand each other, so they agree to a bet: whoever loses out on a promotion must leave the company.
As Lucy and Josh spend more time together, they learn to appreciate each other’s company. Josh takes care of Lucy when she’s ill. Then, Lucy repays the favor by being his plus-one at a wedding. Unfortunately for these two lovebirds, the impending promotion threatens their romantic relationship.
7. The Dark Knight (2008)
Christopher Nolan might have won the Oscar for Oppenheimer, but his crowning achievement might still be The Dark Knight. After establishing himself as Gotham’s vigilante, Batman (Christian Bale) teams with Lt. Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) for his toughest opponent yet: the Joker (Heath Ledger), a sadistic criminal who wears a purple suit and clown makeup.
Batman believes the only way to save Gotham is to give it a hero with a face. Enter District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), the no-nonsense prosecutor who aims to put the mob behind bars. Batman starts to lose control of Gotham when the Joker outsmarts him at every turn. To save the city, Batman will have to make the ultimate sacrifice.
6. Geostorm (2017)
Gerard Butler takes on a natural disaster in Geostorm. After massive storms eradicate a portion of the population, the world’s leaders create Dutch Boy, a system of weather-controlling satellites. After neutralizing a typhoon, Dutch Boy is deemed a success. Years later, terrorists hack Dutch Boy and use the satellites to destroy parts of the world.
One of Dutch Boy’s designers, Jake Lawson (Butler), travels into space to fix the satellite. Jake’s brother, Assistant Secretary of State Max Lawson (Jim Sturgess), fights to keep things under control in America. The brothers will have to work fast, as the terrorists plan to create a geostorm to wipe out most of humanity.
5. Despicable Me 4 (2024)
The popular Minions return in Despicable Me 4. After spending years as a villain, Gru (Steve Carell) is now a secret agent for the Undercover Anti-Villain League (AVL). While attending a class reunion, Gru runs into his old rival, Maxime Le Mal (Will Ferrell). After learning Maxime enhanced himself with cockroach body parts, Gru had him arrested and sent to prison.
The incarceration does not last long after Maxime escapes prison and goes after Gru and his family. Forced into hiding, Gru and his family move to a safe house in a new town. Gru must devise a plan to stop Maxime from turning his son into a cockroach hybrid.
4. Lucy (2014)
Scarlett Johansson finds herself in a precarious situation in Lucy, a sci-fi drama from Luc Besson. When Lucy Miller (Johansson) is tricked into delivering a package to a crime lord, criminals make her a drug mule. While transporting drugs hidden in her abdomen, they mistakenly explode and slip into her bloodstream. Instead of killing her, the drugs give Lucy superhuman abilities, including telepathy, telekinesis, and mental time travel.
With these newfound powers, Lucy exacts her revenge against the criminals who made her this way. The more power Lucy receives, the more out of control she becomes. With help from a neurologist (Morgan Freeman), Lucy hopes to harness her powers before it’s too late.
3. The Croods (2013)
Travel back to prehistoric times and visit the Croods, a Neanderthal family consisting of Grug (Nicolas Cage), his wife, Ugga (Catherine Keener), his mother-in-law, Gran (Cloris Leachman), and kids Eep (Emma Stone), Thunk (Clark Duke), and Sandy (Randy Thom). Due to Grug’s overprotective nature, the family remains in the cave.
One night, Eep sneaks out and meets Guy (Ryan Reynolds), a modern teenage boy. Guy introduces the Croods to new inventions, much to Grug’s dismay. While Grug refuses to adapt, the rest of the Cruds want to live by the new rules. When Guy informs the Croods about an impending apocalypse, Greg must decide whether to trust this new stranger.
2. One of Them Days (2025)
One of the year’s surprise hits is now on Netflix in One of Them Days. Keke Palmer and SZA star as friends Dreux and Alyssa, who live together with the latter’s boyfriend, Keshawn (Joshua Neal). On the first day of the month, the girls realize that Keshawn has stolen their $1,500 rent payment. The girls must pay the rent by 6 p.m. or they will be evicted.
Without any money, Dreux and Alyssa hit the town and devise multiple plans to get the money. Unfortunately for the girls, eviction might be the least of their concerns, especially when they run into the neighborhood gangster.

Sofia Carson is on a mission to complete a series of tasks in the romantic dramedy, The Life List. Alex Rose (Carson) is not living her dream life. To make matters worse, Alex’s mother, Elizabeth (Connie Britton), dies after a battle with cancer. During the reading of the will, Alex learns that she has been passed over for CEO at her company.
When she’s alone, Alex watches a video from Elizabeth, asking her to complete a set of bucket list tasks. As she completes a task, she will learn more about her inheritance. This list takes Alex throughout the city as she starts living life to the fullest. Who knows, she might even find love.
