Cheaper 5G phones are coming thanks to Qualcomm, as it said it's adding 5G connectivity to its Snapdragon 6-Series and 7-Series chipsets in 2020. Twelve manufacturers have signed on to use the 5G Snapdragon 7-series chip, ranging from Motorola to HMD Global, maker of Nokia phones.
